Detailed Description

Tag types identifying the kind of spatial quantity: length, area and volume.

Each carries the SI unit symbol of its base unit. The quantity template is unit-generic; the tags differ only in which cross-unit operators relate them, in whether the quantity exposes a period alias (lengths only) and in their display suffixes.
